It's been forever. More than a year in fact. I didn't know if I would ever post again. Life gets so busy and this past December an event happened that will forever change things. Maybe this will help me move on, maybe not. "Never give up" will be my motto. So, on to a better tomorrow.

A few of my favorite things:
Put up my JOY banner again this year with a new addition!
Made a new advent calendar with my Tom's chip rack. This was so much fun!! Want to add pics to the back next year.
Most of us took frame pics for Christmas eve, they turned out really cute!
December was busier than usual. Besides a birthday added there my youngest son graduated from college. Really proud of him!!

A few things I've been up to:
Alabama Chanin inspired chair cover for Lee
Pink Lemonade Stand for Georgia (made with recycled wood pieces already painted pink)
Low fat muffins made with yogurt and egg whites
Made lemon curd with the yolks (sort of defeats the purpose of the low fat?)
Hope everyone has been enjoying their summer. We're having beautifully cool weather today after record breaking highs. Going outside to enjoy!

I finally changed my header from winter to spring and now it's almost summer over here. Of course we've been having strangely cooler weather than usual. So nice in the evenings especially. Perfect for sitting outside and visiting or reading. We've added another new baby to our family a couple of weeks ago, Audrey Rose. She is beautiful (of course) and weighed 9lbs. 6ozs. when she was born. And that hair! It's so soft and thick. Having fun with them all of course and looking forward to some lovely evenings. Hopefully I'll get my act together and start posting more.
